Kingwood CARPET REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
Kingwood CARPET REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
Over time our carpets take a significant amount of abuse from our children, pets and just everyday life. Once the life of your carpet is reaching its limit these once plush and comfortable pieces of our home become more and more difficult to keep clean which can lead up to a whole other slew of issues. Keep your home clean and healthy by taking advantage of our expert carpet installers.
There’s typically two main styles of carpeting to choose from when making your selection. Take into consideration the use of the area that the new carpeting will be installed in. Is this area going to be a high traffic area? Do you need to replace carpeting in the kids room? Maybe a living room.
The first style is loop pile; meaning the fibers are bent into small loops where the ends of each fiber are attached to the backing of the carpet backing. This type of carpeting is called Berber. The loops can be set all at an even level to give a commercial look or for high traffic areas. Cleaning is simple and the color tends to last much longer than most other carpets.
The second is cut pile, this style of carpeting tends to be very soft and comes in many different variations. One end of the fiber is attached to the backing and leaves one end open and unattached. Plush is even and smooth great for everyday use. Saxony has long fibers and is typically very dense. The only con to this carpet is that it is prone to leaving footprints and can be a little difficult to clean. Textured cut pile can be made to give desirable patterns matched with different colors.
The two different styles of cut can also be combined to give durability of the low pile while adding comfort from the cut pile.
